Mim Tea Garden is one of the oldest tea garden established in early 19th century located in Jorebunglow, Sukhiapokhari in Darjeeling district. The garden is located at a distance of 75 km from Siliguri and is at a distance of 21 km from Darjeeling town. This is the only tea garden in Darjeeling which is run by the government of India.

Legends say that the garden was named after a Mem Sahib (British Lady) who supervised the operations of the estate after the demise of her pioneer husband. This enchanting estate is shrouded mostly in mist, sprawled across elevations of 1500 to 6000 ft above sea. The estate is bounded by the pristine gurgling waters of the ‘Chota Rangeet’ mountain rapids.

Cocooned amongst the rustling pines which abound this very special treasure are the carefully nurtured tea plants which have provided exquisite and very rare teas to the world for over 150years. Its flavour emanates from a fusion of pedigreed plants, pristine air, sparkling rain drops and intermittent caressing sunshine.
