Our Story

Andrew Yule is a 150 years multi divisional Public Sector conglomerate under the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprise, Government of India, with various business portfolios, of which Tea
Plantation & Manufacture is the flagship business. The Company’s Registered Office is in Kolkata, India. The Tea Division of the Company produces more than 12 million kilos of quality CTC and Orthodox Black Teas from its 15 premium Tea Plantations spread over the well known tea growing areas of Darjeeling, Assam, and Dooars of North Eastern
India.

The style and type of tea manufactured is CTC and quality Orthodox from the Assam and Dooars Region. The Darjeeling Estate makes very distinctive quality Organic and Conventional Orthodox teas. The CTC manufacture of both Assam and Dooars are well known for its quality. The Estates are HACCP & ISO certified and are also members of “The Ethical Tea Sourcing Partnership” of UK. The UTZ certification is conferred to the lone Darjeeling Tea Estate.
